I am (obviously) still on the road. Taking a lunch break near Grand Island Nebraska.
It rained up to about St. Jo and a couple of showers after that. Cloudy but dry now.
I'll let you know where I settle in for the night.

I only had a half hour or so ride to get home but I'm glad I got that new rain gear. I took a 3 hour nap and now feel almost human again.

Update... got a call from Craig.. he made it home ok.

It started raining again so I called it a day. I am holed-up in Ogallala, NE.
I should make SLC tomorrow.
Had lots of fun at the Rally. Special kudos to Erica.

Made it home about 8:15. Hit and miss rain into Iowa and then just cloudy until about 20 mi. from home when Ma nature had one more poke at me. Rain gear held up well. After being in all that heat and humidity WI feels cold. I will sleep like the dead tonight.
It was great to meet so many decent folks and talk about Sporties. Thanks Erica for a great rally and thanks again Lil' Joe for letting me crash in your cabin. I will deffinately try to make the rally next year.

I woke up this morning sick though... too much getting wet, followed by high humidity combined with all the drinking and lack of sleep I think! Scratchy throat and dry cough.. hope it doesn't stick around long!

The Bagger Boyz are home safe. Still haven't heard from Bootie yet though. He was supposed to make it as far as Salt Lake today.

We made it home ok. first 100 miles was wet, but dried out the rest of the way. Was good to see every one again, once again the weekend was a blast, even with the rain. Sorry we run off so quick, but was trying to get ahead of the rain.
Victor, did you keep the box of cigars? I was going to tell you to keep them, but forgot!

Quit with the freaking rain already!!!!!!!

I am in Hollister, CA getting my new saddle at the Corbin factory. It is sunny and 75 here.
My ride over the Sierras was absolutely beautiful. I took CA-4 instead of I-80. I even ran
into Snow at 9000ft. Temps were close to freezing, glad I had my Winter riding gear (in the trailer).
About 1 hour later, temps in the San Juaquin Valley were above 95..Yuk!

Honey, I'm home! Just got out of Chicago before the Heavens opened up.
Got home about 5 min before it started raining here which was fortunate
because my Frog Togs' zipper broke.
Only mishap of the trip to the Spyder convention was that our Web-Master
got his finger bitten off by the dog of a friend of his. Ouch:-(
Can't wait till Next year's rally. I should be retired by then:-)
Thanks to Erica, et al. for a job well done.
