Well, it is Sat. Morning and raining to beat the band. Having a great time a my 1st Sporty event. Rode 600 mi. From Appleton, Wi on Thurs. Hit some torrential down pours between Cedar Rapids and Des Moines. The HD rain gear held back most of it. It has been hot and humid so far and the storms started about 9 this morning. Some impressive lightening. Basswood is really nice. Erica has done a fantastic job putting this together. Went Cracker Barrel for breakfast yesterday and the tot he Worth HD store. Did the factory tour with Art and John. Have had some interesting and enlightening conversations with many folks. The beer is cd and plentiful and the pancake breakfast was 'flipping' great. Weather might be a little iffy for the ride to St. Joes and the Jesse James thing. Had a great raffle last night as well. There seems to be a break in the rain. Might make a dash back to camp.

At the auction some of you may remember that there was a rather good looking, large breasted young lady sitting in front of me. I think she was the SO of one of the band members. She heard you guys referring to me as "Bootie". Only problem was that she couldn't remember Bootie and consistently called me "Nookie" instead. Finally I told her that SHE was the Nookie and that I was Bootie. That was about as close to getting some as I got. boo--
